Can a gummy smile be treated non-surgically?

Maybe. In the case of a gummy smile caused by muscles pulling the lips too strongly (when smiling), the doctor can inject Botox to reduce muscle contractions when smiling, but the effect of this treatment usually only lasts a few months.
